xadger, also known as Toxic, Toxicbacon, or simply Phil, is one of the founding players on the Beta server. Joining on October 8, 2021, he played a pivotal role in the establishment and development of the town, contributing to several key structures and community projects. == Early Contributions == === Founding of the Town === Upon joining the server, xadger, alongside Swusho, ventured from the spawn point to identify a suitable location for settlement. Their exploration led them to the site that would eventually flourish into the town. Together, they constructed the first structure: a modest 6x6 dirt box partially embedded into the hillside where the Town Hall now stands at 1 City Square. === Initial Residence === In the early days, xadger was an active player, frequently engaging in mining and construction activities. His first personal residence was carved into the mountain adjacent to Cave Street, characterized by a prominent large glass window. This house not only served as his dwelling but also stood as a testament to the architectural beginnings of the town. === Nether Exploration === Demonstrating a pioneering spirit, xadger was the first player on the server to construct a Nether portal and venture into the Nether. This portal was erected at the town mine on Cave Street, near his initial residence, marking a significant milestone in the server's exploration history. === Town Mine Development === Beyond his personal endeavors, xadger initiated the development of the town mine, laying the groundwork for resource extraction that would fuel the town's growth. His leadership in this project provided a reliable source of materials for building and crafting. == Houses == === Transition to Town Hall === After around a day, xadger relocated to 1 Philips Place located on the second story of the Town Hall building, where he has since resided. His original mountain-side house was bequeathed to Satara223, though it remained largely unused. Notably, Satara223 installed a Herobrine summoning altar inside shortly after acquiring the property. This structure still stands today, albeit abandoned. This residence has also served as the "Birch Grove Clippers' Gaff," the headquarters for a small gang opposed to birch trees, which had a noted rivalry with the Crips gang. === Unfinished Northside Lane Project === In an ambitious move, xadger began constructing a new house adjacent to his previous one on Northside Lane. However, the project remains unfinished, largely due to the demotivating effects of the July 14th Incident of 2022. == Community Involvement == === Infrastructure and Public Works === A stalwart community member, xadger contributed significantly to the town's infrastructure. His efforts include collaborative work on: * The Town Square * The Town Hall * The Town Railroad === Agricultural Initiatives === Frustrated by the town's lack of a sustainable food source, xadger established the server's first wheat farm and accompanying shed in a forest glade on the town's outskirts. However, recurrent vandalism led him to restrict access, prompting the installation of an iconic sign reading, "i dont give a shit if your starving dont take just die." While the farm lay abandoned for an extended period, it was eventually incorporated into Hughes Grove. == Hughes Grove == On March 17, 2024, Hughes Grove, the town's and subsequently the server's first official park, was founded by Swusho in honor of xadger. The park encompasses the area of his original wheat farm and features a small cobblestone memorial dedicated to his cat, Trevor, who passed away on January 6, 2023. Reflecting on his loss, xadger remarked, "Honestly I still expect meows and shit when I wake up." == Affiliations == === Birch Grove Clippers === As the head leader of the "Birch Grove Clippers," a group known for their aversion to birch trees, xadger led the charge in the group's rivalry with the Crips gang. His residence at 1 Philips Place functioned as the group's headquarters. Under his leadership, the Birch Grove Clippers became known for their distinctive anti-birch stance, engaging in various pranks and skirmishes with the Crips gang. == See Also == * Player: Swusho * Player: Satara223 * Organization: Crips * Organization: Birch Grove Clippers * July 14th Incident * Server History == References == Note: In-game logs, player testimonies, and server archives were used to compile this article.
